Representing South Dakota at National Conference

GroundWorks Connect was honored to represent South Dakota Agriculture in the Classroom program at the National Ag in the Classroom Conference in June of this year.

Executive Director, Cindy Heidelberger Coates and Garden Manager, Ginger McNickle had the opportunity to share our programs with educators from all over the nation.

The presentation touched on our Garden Programs-mainly the Ratatouille themed bed!- and also our very cool TourSD 4th Grade curriculum. The duo recounted how fun it was getting to know other educators from across the state and comparing notes.

We are so excited to go next year on the east coast, and have a lofty goal of sending an educator that is utilizing our programs.
